Safety

The Britax Romer Swivel i-Size Car Seat is certified to meet UN R129 standards and offers complete head to hip protection.

The car seat has deep and secure side wings to cocoon your little one, to shield them and create a cosy and safe cave, protecting them from both sides. For newborns, the Swivel provides extra special protection thanks to the carefully designed newborn insert. The newborn insert can be used for a long time thanks to its extendable neck, and it also offers a lie flat recline position for babies up to 75cm.

For extra safety, the Swivel car seat also has a five-point harness system, energy absorbing foam pads and soft performance chest pads. The robust ISOFIX support leg ensures a safe and stable stand, keeping your bundle of joy secure even in the event of an accident.

The Swivel car seat allows your baby to be rear facing for longer - up until four years old. It can then transition to a forward-facing booster seat to keep them protected until they’re as old as seven.

The Britax Swivel Car Seat swaps easily from the rear-facing five-point harness option to the forward-facing three-point seat belt toddler car seat once your little one reaches 100cm. You can also store the five-point harness in the backrest of the car seat so it’s ready to use again in the event of another little arrival.

When it comes to installation, we understand that sometimes you just need to get going hassle-free, the Swivel can be easily rotated 360° so it can face the car door while you buckle your little one up. You then just need one free hand to rotate it back and adjust the recline position and the ISOFIX connectors make installation a breeze.

Finally, as all parents know – accidents happen. The Swivel has a quick-remove washable seat cover that can be easily taken off without detaching the harness so you can be prepared to tackle all kinds of messes without any stresses.
