This is an excellent car seat that seems to be very comfortable for our 15 month old daughter, while also looking very safe and secure.

The car seat arrived well packaged, though the box is very heavy - it might need two people to lift. It comes with a small leaflet with the most important instructions, but you can also scan the QR code to read the full manual online. It was straightforward to install in our car, using the ISOFIX system.

Like our other Maxi Cosi car seat, the different positions show red or green, to indicate when the car seat is in a safe position - such a useful feature, particularly in those sleep deprived early days!

One thing to note is that this car seat is attached to the base - you cannot remove the car seat and leave the base in the car. Personally, I prefer to have a car seat that can be removed from the car and taken into your house or popped onto your pram base, so that if your baby is asleep, you don't have to wake them up. However, this is less of an issue for us now our daughter is older, and does not sleep as much in the car.

The car seat comes with a newborn insert, which can be easily removed. I really like the different recline positions, and I think this will be even more useful as our daughter gets older. The 360 degree rotation is also very handy, so it'll be easy to make the move to forward-facing when we are ready.

Overall, it’s a fantastic car seat that can take you from tiny newborn to forward-facing toddler without having to change seats!
