Close Caboo Review

We were lucky enough to collaborate with our good friends at Close to support the launch of their brand new Caboo carriers. What better way to launch such fantastic new prints than with two reviews from our trusted Parent Testers. We received two very exclusive samples of the Close Caboo + Cotton Blend Carrier in 'Ava' and 'Fearne' prints which were put to the test...

Parent Tester 1: Melissa + Theo

"I loved the Close Caboo carrier and was so excited to try it out! Being a first time mum everything is new, exciting and little scary but I felt happy with Theo in the carrier right from the word go. Theo can be a little wriggler so I was really surprised when he sat comfortably, this let me keep my hands free and made mum life a little easier when it came to chores and running the 101 errands that parent life brings! We were definitely able to get out of the house quicker and Theo seemed to like being close to his mummy rather than in his car seat or carrycot. It helps that he is such a poser too! 

I really liked the cross between a sling and a carrier it's super comfy and just fab. It was super easy to put on too, I just followed the instructions and there are lots of videos and demos available online. I think I'll be able to use this all year round as the material seems breathable, Theo didn't get sweaty and I think it'll keep him warm in the winter too. I also love the fun print which is different from your usual black, grey and navy. 

I would definitely recommend the Close carrier, it makes life easier and my baby loves it too - double win!"

Parent Tester 2: Lucy + Max 

"I am completely new to babywearing but from the very start of my parent testing journey I've been pleasantly surprised! I was able to position Max and the carrier straps easily by myself and instantly felt comfortable. Max loves skin to skin time so I could really feel him relax and he felt safe and secure in the carrier. 

I loved being able to get on with everyday chores around the house without having to leave Max in his moses basket, as you can see the Close Caboo allowed me to be hands free which made washing up and doing, what seems like endless loads of laundry, a breeze. Being able to eat my dinner with two hands was a novelty too! Usually I am nudging my six year old along as well as comforting my newborn so a spare pair of hands really came in handy. 

As before, Max felt comfortable and secure so I'd have no reservations in heading out and about and I can't wait to tackle the school run with my new carrier rather than the pushchair!"
