Known for their use of sustainable fabrics and recyclable packaging, they have also implemented a car seat recycling scheme designed to reduce landfill waste. This initiative, as well as their other work, reflects a shared vision of longevity in product design and environmental responsibility.
Recycle your Car Seat
Silver Cross is proud to be the first nursery brand to offer a car seat recycling service. Launched in 2021, it gives customers the opportunity to recycle their unused car seat instead of it ending up in landfill. Silver Cross’ specialist team will collect the car seat free of charge and use specialist lasers to separate the materials to ensure every part of the seat is recycled. These materials are then reused in the production of other items across various industries.
Premium Valet, Service and Donation Schemes
Silver Cross products are built to last and have historically been passed down through generations – but sometimes, even the most premium pram needs a little TLC. Silver Cross’ Premium Valet and Service scheme allows customers to give their pram a refresh before passing it through the family or onto someone else.
Giving back
As well as a passion for the planet, both Natural Baby Shower and Silver Cross engage in various charity initiatives throughout the year to give back to their local communities and help those families most in need.
Silver Cross are proud to work with the UK’s largest network of baby banks – Baby Basics – to help families in need across the country. As well as donating a number of their own products and stock to Baby Basics, their customers also have the option to donate their Silver Cross pram or stroller to the charity when they’re no longer needed.
We are also dedicated to working closely with charities to make a meaningful impact. The key charities we work with and donate regularly to include Stripey Stork and Shooting Star Children’s Hospices.

Committed to minimising their carbon footprint, Natural Baby Shower operates from a state-of-the-art 43,000 sq ft office. This building is top-of-the-range, energy efficient and filled with high quality, sustainable furniture made from recycled materials wherever possible. The building complies with the BREEAM standard for best practice in sustainable building design, construction and operation. BREEAM measures a building’s environmental impact across ten categories including energy, water, waste, pollution and transport.
Prioritising sustainable practices, we work in the most eco-friendly way we can. Our warehouse team have worked hard to revolutionise packing process by only using the essential amount of packaging, minimising space waste, and reducing the amount of single use plastics.
We focus on green shipping initiatives to avoid part-shipping and work collaboratively with brands that support their mission to make this possible. It is our goal to continue to work with suppliers, delivery operators and our internal warehouse team to create a supply chain that is as planet friendly as possible.
