Sun-San Sandals…taking the globe by storm!
We have tried and tested the Sun-San Saltwater Sandals summer after summer and are never anything but impressed by them. They look gorgeous, the kids love them, they last all summer and then again for any younger siblings and judging by the amazing press surrounding these summer must haves, we aren't the only ones that think so.
The sandals are for boys and girls, kids can wear them in the sea and if in our usual British fashion, there is a down pour which results in some muddy puddle jumping (yes even in the summer!), you can even put them in your washing machine! Hooray for rust proof buckles!

As a way to cope with leather shortages in World War II, Walter Hoy started making his sandals using the scrap leather left over from making military boots. Word soon spread and before long, families from all over St. Louis, were asking if Walter could make sandals for their kids. The leather is coated with a water resistant sealant and they mould to the user’s feet with repeated wear. The brass buckles allow straps to be adjusted for narrow or wide feet. They are great for running in and out of the ocean and can be popped into the washing machine; the perfect summer sandal for both wet and dry conditions. A summer staple in America for 70 years, they are now being spotted on a growing number of celebrity children such as Suri Cruise, Ramone Saasgard, Matilda Ledger, Romy Mars and Ruby Maguire.
