Today With Tonies Review and Keep

The Today With Tonies Podcast is a daily 10-minute podcast-style show, packed full of fun facts, jokes, challenges, games and laughs! Your little one can press play to join presenters Sam and Tim as they embark on a quest to discover new words, visit new places, learn new things and dance the day away. Little listeners also get the chance to send in their very own voice notes to get featured on the show!

To play, they just need to pop the Tonie on top of their Toniebox each day for a brand-new show – it’s exciting not knowing what to expect. From Monday to Friday, Sam and Tim face a variety of wild and wacky challenges, on Saturday’s Good News Show they share a selection of happy stories from around the world, and Sundays are reserved for listener features.

My daughter (aged 5) and I have been trying out the Today with Tonies Podcast, and we are both so impressed!

I can’t believe there’s an entirely new show every single day, with a duration of 10 minutes each, which is perfect for my little girl’s – and every child’s - short attention span.

Every episode is crammed full of fun facts, discussions, jokes, and learning. Sometimes children are also encouraged to get involved which my little girl loves. Yesterday, we had to leap off the floor every time a certain sound was played – like a ‘the floor is lava’ type game. We had so much fun, and the game had us giggling like mad.

Earlier this week, presenters Sam and Tim encouraged listeners to name as many different types of transport as possible in a given time. It was great to see my daughter really having to think hard and concentrate.

As with the other Tonies, you simply place it onto the Tonie box and it starts playing automatically, which is a huge bonus for busy parents like myself.

All in all, we’d highly recommend this product to parents, as there’s something different each day, and it’s a great interactive tool which gets children involved and keeps them engaged.

Here’s a step-by-step guide to how Today With Tonies works:

1. Listeners just pop the Tonie on the Toniebox and a new daily episode will automatically download as long as the Toniebox is within range of WiFi.

2. If you miss a few days or are out of WiFi just pop the Tonie back on the Toniebox when you’re back in range of WiFi and all available episodes, including the latest one, will load. Listeners can then listen back to the most recent episodes.

3. The Toniebox will store up to two weeks worth of shows – that’s nearly two and a half hours of listening. As new shows are released the oldest shows will be replaced.

4. To be featured on the show little listeners can get their grownups to help them send in a voice note to today@tonies.co.uk.
